Planning has anything to do with Garland city’s layout, buildings, or lots.

This includes commercial, housing, and sub-division development. It also includes rezoning property.

The planning department meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm.

The city offices are open from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday, with a lunch from 12:00 – 1:00 pm. Closed on holidays.
